Strung is an original multidisciplinary performance devised by dance and theater arts company Intra Movement.
The piece explores the labyrinths of daily life. Blending the mythologically-inspired imagery of Ariadne’s thread with movement and narrative, we ask: how do we keep our balance, our compassion, our grace, as we encounter the blind turns and switchbacks of life's mazes? How do we, globally and locally and individually, choose to enter unfamiliar space, get lost, retrace our steps, navigate through obstacles, and through memory?
Strung is produced by SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts and is presented through RAW (resident artist workshop) on a shared bill with Rarefied Bear at SAFEhouse Arts in San Francisco.
