Next-door neighbors Johnny V's and Paddy's Pub are putting on a reggae festival with 10 bands and two DJs on two stages. The Paddy's side will be headlined by Midnight Raid--Oaklanders who add some eclectic genre twists to their reggae sound--and locals Yeshua and the Hightones. The Johnny V's side will feature more hip-hop heavy acts like headliners San Jose indie-rappers Free Fall Crew and Sway D. Other acts include Dreadren, Drunken Starfighter, Audible Smoke Signals, Freddy Benz/Philos Roach and Too Nice from Canada. (Stephen Layton)
