| Description Puppet Show presents the art of shadow puppet theatre with handmade puppets by NIAD artists and Leonidas Kassapides, professional shadow puppeteer. The exhibit culminates with a presentation of The Story of the Strong Man, written by NIAD artist Billy White and performed by NIAD artists.
Kassapides has been teaching and performing shadow theatre,touring in museums, theatres, festivals and schools since 1989 in the United States and Europe, and has been a performer for Shadow Light Productions since the early nineties. The Exhibit is on display from January 12 - March 6, 2009. The opening reception is Saturday, January 17, 2-5pm, and the shadow puppet performance by NIAD artists is Wednesday, February 18, at 1:30pm.
