We are stoked to host a special DJ set from kit n c.l.a.w.s. - the dynamic duo of Kit Clayton and c.l.a.w.s. Fresh from a campout in the deep forest, they will take us on a far out journey to outer space.
KIT N C.L.A.W.S.
San Francisco duo, kit n c.l.a.w.s., is a synth heavy collaboration of Kit Clayton (~scape, orthlorng musork, cytrax) and Brian D. Hock aka c.l.a.w.s. (ecstasy, tigerbass, discaire). Their first release will come out later this year on Gooiland Electro (http://www.enfant-terrible.nl/gooilandelektro.html).
DJ CLAIRITY
Claire Evans White aka DJ Clairity started her music career as a hard techno DJ in 1997 in nearby Sonoma County. After moving to San Francisco a few years later, she quickly took to the scene and became heavily involved with throwing and playing parties. Claire has performed at venues throughout San Francisco and the United States, from the corner club to the deep underground. Notable gigs include a length stay in Europe and residency at Maybe Mondays. You can currently find her on second Fridays at Underground SF's Pulse Generator, working the crowd with her minimal techno and marco beats.
NIGHTBISCUIT
Kara discovered her love for techno while in her early 20s after a close friend told her "Yes, it does have soul, it's from Detroit." She immediately fell head over heels for the classic Detroit sound, and before you could say "Knights of the Jaguar" she was slinging wax at tiny store openings and house parties. In the years since her sound has evolved and expanded into deep, rich, emotive house beats, stripped down funky minimal sounds, punchy sweet 4 on the floor techno and uplifting vocal house; while still playing plenty of tracks "str8 out the 'D'." Kara has performed at numerous parties and venues throughout San Francisco and beyond including Lil Sistr, White Label @ Showdown, Swoooosh!, Joyscouts Reunion, Happy Hour @ Wish, Maybe Mondays, FnF Campout, Rhythm Society; and residency at the now defunct Source. Most of all she loves her Pulse Generator Crew, where she has held residency since 2009.
