Growing up in Colorado, Michal Menert was surrounded by music. During his childhood, Michal’s father exposed him to a wide variety of Eastern and Western music, along with the guitar and keyboard. Additionally, dabbling in a variety of other instruments gave him a unique approach to crafting his own style. Michal’s most significant motivation is “the opportunity to chase a fleeting feeling that comes from certain moments in music, coupled with the privilege of having a platform to give audiences a glimpse into that feeling.” Michal’s connection with Pretty Lights runs deep as he co-produced the debut Pretty Lights album, Taking Up Your Precious Time, and has collaborated with Smith on a handful of tracks since then. His solo album, Dreaming of A Bigger Life, was released on Pretty Lights Music in the spring of 2010. Michal’s second album, the critically acclaimed mega-LP Even If It Isn’t Right, dropped in the spring of 2012. In addition to Pretty Lights, Michal has collaborated with Break Science, Mux Mool, Paul Basic and Manic Focus, among many others. As for the rest of 2014 and beyond, Michal plans to finish a half color EP with Paul Basic, tour with his friends and collaborate with as many people as he can on his way down the road. This guy knows how to build tension and suspense and break new ground without loosing sight of quality craftsmanship." - Magnetic Magazine After more than ten years of global touring, seven solo albums on labels such as Pretty Lights Music, Old Tacoma Records, Hefty, 1320 and Mush, Eliot Lipp's status as an electronic music pioneer is known to scene experts and weekend warriors alike. Named one of Vibe Magazines top 10 fastest rising DJs (Summer 2013) Vibe says " Eliot Lipp is making moves! ...Signed to Pretty Lights Music, Lipp's omnivorous taste in music expands to include everything from electro to funk to indie to downtempo and trap." Lipp's music tastefully spans genres, styles and techniques. Musically, Lipp is taking chances that are paying off in big ways. In a recent interview with Jay Z's blog Life+Times, Lipp commented that "People are scared to set themselves apart from the norm, but risks need to be taken in order to progress." Perhaps this is what sets Lipp apart from the rest. He is a risk taker, not afraid to do something a little different.

With a background on turntables spanning over 15 years, the Dallas, TX native paired his love of collecting music with harder hitting drums, advanced effects, fills, builds, drops, heavier sub bass, and texturized synth bass. The end result is an EP of superior production quality and musical vision. “My intention with my music, is to make futuristic electronic hip hop beats. The process I use comes from the school of thought from early hip hop, more specifically the late 80's early 90's - digging up old records and chopping them up to make something entirely new. That period influenced my beat making more than any. I then give my tracks that powerful electronic build out because it's fun, great for the dance floor, and I love doing it. The coolest thing for me, is that I am with a crew who shares very similar views and is arguable the best at this style. I'm beyond thrilled to take part in the PLM movement.” SuperVision plans on following up this record with a steady flow of remixes, collaborations, and singles this summer and fall. Fans can count on him to continue to push to new levels of skill, to grow as any master would, forever improving.

Starting out as a drummer, Colorado producer Paul Brandt aka Paul Basic joined a band with Derek Vincent Smith (Pretty Lights) and Michal Menert in high school before they each moved on to pursue solo production work. In fall 2011 Paul released his debut EP 'The Mirror' on Pretty Lights Music which features a gritty, nostalgic sound blending dusty samples, grainy synths, biting bass and thick drums - a combination that earned him an integral place within the PLM movement. Paul's follow-up LP 'Transient Horizons' is a more refined delivery of his dark, heavy beats and shows a unique range of mood and musicality. The album features collaborations with Pretty Lights, Michal Menert, and Trophy Beats. Available now for free download from Pretty Lights Music.
