You can now try a rapidly expanding variety of mezcals at local bars and restaurants, in creative cocktails and interesting flights. At this spirited tasting, local mezcal bloggers and afficionados Max Garrone and Susan Coss will join forces with Bricia Lopez from Los Angeles to guide you through the heady flavors of new and traditional varieties. We'll feature Alipus, Pierde Almas, Del Maguey, Metl, Wahaka, and a potential surprise. Also included: A sampling of flavor enhancing appetizers, a chance to try a signature mezcal cocktail, and of course, music.
