3-day show in historic residential art space runs March 31 through April 2
at Johnny Utah Studio in San Francisco

(San Francisco, CA, March 1, 2016)—Painters Jim DeWitt and Gregory Dugan have announced a three-day exhibition of their works, March 31st through April 2nd, at a historic residential arts space located at 2980 Clay Street in San Francisco.

Abstract expressionist Gregory Dugan will host the exhibition at his studio in Pacific Heights, once home to renowned photographer Ruth Bernhard, who along with Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange and Imogene Cunningham was a member of the influential Group f/64. Formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1930s, Group f/64 is considered one of the most famous movements in the history of photography. Dugan inherited the Studio from Bernhard before her passing in 2006.

Co-exhibitor Jim DeWitt, who just celebrated his 86th birthday, is widely acknowledged as one of America's premier marine artists with exhibitions in galleries and museums worldwide. The pop-up exhibit offers a brief and intimate opportunity to see the work of these artists in a setting with historical significance for artistic innovation in the 20th century.
