Four tables and a counter make Pomelo the biggest little noodle joint in the Sunset. Yaki soba (Japanese whole wheat noodles) with vegetables, chicken, pickled ginger and bonito flakes is a ridiculous bargain, as are the Thai noodles with a generous circle of fat pink shrimp in the center. Whatever - it's all good, it's all cheaper than it should be, and it's our little neighborhood secret so don't tell anyone.
