Embrace your inner pirate at the 7th Annual Northern California Pirate Festival! Equal parts Mardi Gras, state fair, living history and pirate fan fest, the Northern California Festival is the first and biggest event of its kind in the Bay Area. Featuring over 1200 costumed actors from British Naval Officers to swimming mermaids, the annual Fathers Day Weekend event appeals to children and adults alike with four stages of continuos live magic, comedy, and music from acoustic maritime classics to pirate rock, rows of nautically inspired handcrafts, fresh seafood, micro brewed beers, a dedicated Children's Area, and a 360 degree pirate battle featuring tall ships, black powder cannons and invading swordfighters.The festival takes place for one weekend only, Saturday, June 15 and Sunday (Father’s Day) June 16, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Waterfront Park in Vallejo, Solano County.
