It's been two years since San Jose's Picture Atlantic put out their last full-length, Digital Tension, a bouncy, jangling indie-gem, somewhere in the realm of the Walkmen, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Coldplay. Though they haven't released anything in a while, the band's been busy in recent months, readjusting their lineup to a three-piece following the departure of their keyboardist. They've also been working on material for a new LP. Judging by the clips leaked on their Facebook page, the new material is more atmospheric and grooves harder. (Aaron Carnes)
