Pete Yorn - You & Me Acoustic

New Jersey's Pete Yorn has built up a reputation as a prolific and well regarded singer-songwriter, especially since his debut release of "Musicforthemorningafter" which was released in 2001.
Yorn made his breakthrough with his album "Musicforthemorningafter" which achieved Gold status; due to the single "Life on a Chain" He was named one of the ones to watch by Rolling Stone in 2001. The album made it to number 111 on the Billboard 200 chart. His follow up album, "Day I Forgot" made it to number 18 on the Billboard 200, leading the release of the album with the single "Come Back Home" which made it to number 32 in the US Modern Rock Chart, the second single of the album "Crystal Village" made it to number 28 on the Adult Top 40. The album has sold over 350,000 copies to date.

Whilst on tour for the album "Nightcrawler", which made it to number 50 on the Billboard 200 chart, Yorn would always make an appearance at the local indie record shop, performing acoustically a short set, whilst catching up with the fans. The album Nightcrawler went on to be named one of the top 20 records of 2006 by Paste Magazine.
Peter Buck from R.E.M has been featured on a couple of Yorn's recordings such as adding some of the instrumentation to "Strange Condition" and a handful of songs on the "Day I Forgot" full-length. Yorn also supported acts such as Dave Matthews Band, R.E.M, Crowded House, Foo Fighters and Coldplay to name a few. He also played drums for Iggy Pop's band at the Shortlist awards.

His fourth album "Back and Fourth" made it to number 32 on the US Billboard 200 Charts, which was released through Columbia Records on June 23rd 2009. He also collaborated with actress Scarlett Johansson on the album "Break Up", which went on to make it to number 41 on the Billboard 200 charts. The album even went Platinum in France. He is also a member of the 60's influenced retro pop band, The Olms, with good friend JD King. They released their debut album on Harvest records in June 2013 to critical acclaim. Pete is currently enjoying touring solo, performing a one man show as part of his "You&Me" concert series.
