The Twin Pines Art Center presents work by the Peninsula Women’s Caucus for Art. “X 2” will exhibit two works by each artist showing diversity of style, diversity of content, or diversity of medium. “X 2” which opens April 8 includes work by Lorraine Capparell, Grace Cohen, Kris Idarius, Patricia Keefe, Annamaria Kusber, Rebecca Lambing, Ellen Lee, Marie LaPrade, Nancee McDonnell, Alysanne McGaffey, Yvonne Newhouse, Bonnie J Smith, Francine Survilo, Deanna Taubman, Leigh Toldi, Susan Varjavand, Nancy Woods and Marian Yap. There is an opportunity to meet the artists at the reception April 12, 1-4 pm.

Founded in 1972 in connection with the College Art Association (CAA). It is a national member organization unique in its multi-disciplinary, multicultural membership of artists, art historians, students, educators, and museum professionals. WCA is committed to recognizing the contribution of women in the arts, providing women with leadership opportunities and professional development, expanding networking and exhibition opportunities for women, supporting local, national and global art activism and advocating for equity in the arts for all.

Twin Pines Art Center provides Gallery space to local artists as a courtesy of the Belmont Park and Recreation Department and is home to 11 Artist Studios. Twin Pines Gallery is located at 10 Twin Pines Lane, Belmont, CA. The hours are Wednesday through Sunday 12-4 pm. This exhibition will run through May 6, 2015
