Kicking off our exciting 2016/17 season is Conrad Tao, a pianist and composer who has been dubbed a musician of “probing intellect and open-hearted vision” by the New York Times.  He will be performing the deeply personal and thrilling Schumann Piano Concerto in a program that concludes with Elgar’s passionate Enigma Variations, his masterful love song to his wife and dearest friends.  Tao received a YoungArts gold medal in music, a Gilmore Young Artist award, and is a Presidential Scholar in the Arts.  The stage is set for this young pianist to take the music world by storm and we are delighted to have him join us for our season opener!
