The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) began in 1977 when a group of individuals founded the organization as a way to protect open spaces, farms, and park lands in and around Silicon Valley. Since inception, POST has saved over 75,000 acres of valuable San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz county land.
