The Pence Gallery's mission is to serve the community through offering high caliber art exhibits and educational programs for visitors of all ages. The Pence Gallery fulfills this mission through museum-caliber exhibitions and educational programs. These offerings are supported by the Pence Gallery Association and guided by the Director.
The Association raises funds through memberships, gifts, art sales, and special events. Docent volunteers host the Gallery during open hours and assist the Director and Gallery Assistant with regular operations. Since its incorporation in 1976, the Pence Gallery has served as a leader in the visual arts of Northern California.
