Pedalfest brings all-things bicycles to Jack London Square for the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier free bicycle festival. From bike geeks to families and weekend warriors to commuters, this annual celebration will fill the Oakland waterfront with more than 20,000 biking enthusiasts. Pedalfest-goers will enjoy bicycling daredevils performing in a 30-foot banked wooden drome; dazzling two-wheeled stunts by pro riders; a Rock the Bike pedal-powered stage featuring live music; kids bicycle parade; inventive cycling creations from Whymcycles; pedal-powered food; an e-bike test track; roaming two penny bikes; and a dazzling collection of new, vintage and handmade bikes. A selection of beer will also be available from New Belgium Brewing Co., with all proceeds going to support the advocacy work of Bike East Bay, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy, sustainable communities by making bicycling safe, fun and accessible.
Visitors can bike, ferry, BART or drive to Jack London Square, where all bicyclists will receive bicycle valet services. For additional information about Pedalfest and/or to volunteer, visit
