The Aesthetic Union and McCalman.Co present a collaborative exhibition in honor of America’s (least) favorite holiday: Tax Day
While there’s not much to celebrate on April 15th, we’ve decided to place it in a better light this year by teaming up with a handful of the Bay Area’s talented design
community and producing in-house lettepressed posters to hang on our walls for your viewing pleasure.
The theme of the exhibition is ‘Pay Your Dues’ and is curated by George McCalman. He selected 13 designers, illustrators and typographers to create artwork which were inspired by their own personal interpretations of workin’ for the man. Each designer created designs specifically to be letterpressed at The Aesthetic Union on their vintage presses.
Each showcased poster will be printed by The Aesthetic Union in an edition of 25 and available for purchase. Posters exhibited in Pay Your Dues designed by:

Join us at The Aesthetic Union to celebrate a community of creatives and a love for letterpress on the evening of Friday, April 11th from 6-9 pm. Posters will be available for purchase, drinks will be available for your consumption, and your taxes will be available to put off for at least another 4 days...
