This dynamic Czech string quartet stands as one of the most prestigious chamber ensembles of today according to Gramophone -the "classical music Oscars," who awarded them for their performance of the one great Antonin Dvorak's String Quartets.
The Pavel Haas Quartet quickly gained international recognition receiving the Vittorio E. Rombotti award in Florence in 2004, the Czech Chamber Music Society Award in 2006, and signing a recording contract with Supraphron by 2006.
