Chosen by the Library of Congress to be preserved in the National Recording Registry, the album received the Grand Prix Du Disque from the French Republic in 1976, and is cited as one of the Top 50 albums of all time by Rolling Stone.“We are proud to bring Horses to the Fillmore,” says Smith, “which we consider hallowed ground, containing with its walls so much innovative and spiritual energy. We look forward to bringing our irreverent thoroughbred to the city in which it first freely galloped.”
