Description

Delve into New York City’s vibrant 1980s drag scene, with glamorous balls, costumes, and vogueing. Artist Kehinde Wiley, whose exhibition The World Stage: Israel is currently on view, claims this film as an early aesthetic influence on his work (71 min, 1990).

Free matinee screenings are presented in conjunction with the Museum’s admission-free first Tuesdays of the month.
