We'd heard raves on the roasted salsa here but weren't prepared for the ridiculously delicious shrimp tacos ($7), fresh, chunky guacamole and fresh beers on tap. Plus, the management is so friendly, the chips and salsa miraculously reappear on the table, and the crowd is a nice mix of ages and styles. Props to the tastefully colorful, mod interior, which turns what could be another sketchy taqueria into a comfortable, stylish little dining experience. Hits the spot after an oh-my-god-so-hip day in Dolores Park.
