The Palo Alto Munch Walk is somewhat like a combination of the following:
- Progressive Meal (eating small courses and bites at several different places -- come hungry!)
- Neighborhood Walking Tour
- Trivia Game (It's fun with a touch of silly! No prior knowledge necessary)
Details:
On this gourmet walking food tour in downtown Palo Alto, guests will experience a fun culinary excursion with food tastings at about 7 different restaurants and food businesses. Guests will also learn about the restaurants, the food, as well as Palo Alto, which is the birthplace of numerous innovative tech companies, has deep roots in the 1960's hippie movement, and is a stone's throw away from the world-class institution, Stanford University.
The Munch Walk will last approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Each restaurant stop will be a bit different -- at some, the group will be seated and served the food/drink/dessert, while at others, we will sample some yummies while standing. We will also have opportunities to hear from the restaurant managers/owners at several stops.
