For Pairing #2 the artist couple, Jay Nelson and Rachel Kaye, observe the intrinsic exchange of influence resulting from living and creating art side-by-side for the past 15 years. While not direct collaborations, their work intersects in execution, with latent conceptual and stylistic elements that appear unconsciously.
Jay Nelson known for his ambitious mobile structures and tree houses will create a two-story wooden structure as an interactive component to experiencing the art of Pairing #2. The purposeful design is meant to elicit dialogue about the interdisciplinary qualities of architectural space and its ability to set viewing parameters and influence focal points.
Exhibition Dates: April 22 - June 03, 2016
Opening Reception: Fri, April 22 2016 | 7-9:30pm
Gallery hours: Tuesday -Saturday 12-6pm
