About the "I Love Poke" Food Festival & Chef Competition:

The “I Love Poke” festival and chef competition, founded by Nino Camilo, is a celebration of Hawaiian cuisine and features chefs vying for the title of “Best Poke,” a traditional Island dish commonly made with raw ahi tuna flavored with seasonings including sea salt, soy sauce, seaweed, sesame oil and other preferred ingredients. Each "I Love Poke" event features a lineup of well-respected judges, live Hawaiian music and an array of Island and Asian inspired food samples. Since 2009, "I Love Poke" has grown from a beloved San Diego event to include festivals in Orange County, Seattle and, as of 2016, San Francisco. For further information can be found at onoyum.com.
