Pacific Art League of Palo Alto

Arts , Art Organization , Gallery

Founded in 1921 as "The Palo Alto Art Club," the Pacific Art League began as a community of and for artists - new, emerging and professional—and soon became a valuable addition to the San Francisco Peninsula's cultural life. We are a membership organization, guided and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are also long-time members. We are assisted by many volunteers who bring expertise and dedication to a wide variety of projects.

The Pacific Art League is an inviting place for anyone who wants to create art. Nearly two-thirds of our members describe themselves as amateur or student artists. Members frequently comment that the Art League is more than just a place to exhibit art and take classes. Rather, it is a community of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and skills who come together to express themselves through art.
