NYC's mutant maestro Oz Noy (Nile Rogers, Gavin DeGraw) makes a rare Bay Area appearance with bassist Jonathan Herrera and drummer Deszon Claiborne. Noy makes a jazz noise that can be bouncy and beautiful with a pleasant tone, and then quickly turn turbulent with gnarly distortions drenched in otherworldly effects. Above all, it grooves.
