Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray"

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join Chinatown’s World Literature Book Club for an enjoyable discussion of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray.Wilde’s famous novel revolves around Dorian, a handsome, dissolute dandy who devotes his life to pursuing beauty and pleasure. Afraid that his good looks will someday fade, Dorian wishes that a recently painted portrait of him would suffer the inevitable ravages of time, rather than his own physical self. To Dorian’s surprise, his wish is granted.

Our group meets the first Thursday of each month, 6:30-8:30 pm.
