The Museum of Monterey is thrilled to kick off its third installment of the "The Year of the Mission" series with an opening reception. This year's collection features 37 jewel-like oil paintings of mission churches and chapels by Will Sparks. The opening reception will feature a film screening as well as light refreshments. Proceeds from the reception will benefit the Carmel Mission Foundation, the Monterey History & Art Association, and the Campaign for Preservation of Mission San Antonio.
