Description

Tonight - Saturday, February 11th : Opel 10 Year Anniversary.

If you've been clubbing in San Francisco in the last 10 years, then you know Opel. Starting out as a small outfit to throw vibe centric parties with a conscious twist, they've continued to provide a consistent haven of fun with friendly crowds, creative productions, and cutting edge music from the biggest names in dance music. From mega clubs to warehouse parties, from street fairs to floats in Lovevolution, they've seen it and done it all.

To celebrate this milestone in a way that fits the occasion, they're putting on 2 events to showcase the ground they've covered.

For Part 1 it could only be some of their favorite original tech funk heroes, pioneers of breaks and electro house who've been playing Opel's biggest events for years, out of London, the co-owners of taste maker Lot 49 Recordings.

Allison Leigh Apparel
https://www.facebook.com/pages/allison-leigh-apparel/105613089474214

Allison Leigh Apparel, created by designer Allison Leigh Jones, is a fiercely independent collection of pieces that are reminiscent of old-school glamour with a bit of a modern and rebellious edge.
Juxtaposition of texture, pattern, and color is constantly at play. Working primarily (but not exclusively) with repurposed and/or vintage and rare materials, these pieces are very unique, often available one-off or in very small runs, thus fulfilling the designer's belief that all people are individuals and should dress as such as often as possible.
Allison has been designing clothes since her early teens, after a life-changing sewing class taught her not only how to stitch, but that she could create her own looks that no one else in the world possessed. After graduating from Southern Illinois University she moved to the bright lights of Chicago, where she held stints as a designer's assistant and a costume designer, amongst others, all while designing independently for her own labels, Diabolique and Allison Leigh Designs.

In 2004, Allison headed west, first stopping off in the Phoenix, AZ area, where she participated in such events as SMoCA nights, Fashion Ball, and Fashion Week 2006. Her work appeared in local publications 944, Java, and Yes magazines. In 2008, she made San Francisco, CA her home and has enjoyed the wonderful reception of her style in a society that embraces the off-beat.

allison leigh apparel is bold, fresh, and flirty, and never forgets to be fun!
