Saratoga’s Montalvo Arts Center will play host to a youthful international consortium this fall, when 25 musicians (ages 19 – 35) from 17 countries, ranging from a Brazilian flautist to an Egyptian singer/composer to an Iraqi oud player, will gather for OneBeat, an electrifying fellowship enjoined to collaboratively write, produce, record, and perform genre-shattering musical works. Part concert, part musical festival, the day will feature small group performances staged throughout Montalvo's grounds and buildings. Guests are invited to mingle among musicians as they perform, and later gather in the Garden Theater for a culminating ensemble performance.
