Oliver Peoples Eyewear is noted for their simple glasses cases and colorful glasses cleaning cloths included with genuine spectacles. The company was established in 1986 by Larry and Dennis Leight. The company was founded in West Hollywood, CA and began selling vintage frames from a boutique. It's first magazine debut appeared on the cover of German Vogue in 1987. The line can be found in fine retailers and premium optical boutiques.

The brand has also been featured in men's and women's fashion magazines, including GQ (UK), GQ (France), Men's Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Women's Vogue. In the month of March 2010, Oliver Peoples has been featured in eight major fashion magazines.
