24--year--old Oliver Nelson is truly taking the world by storm and is leading the current group of Nordic exports coming out of Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Originally growing up in Stockholm, Oliver's first love of music came in the form of the drums and it wasn't until 2007 that Oliver found electronic and fell in love. The very first life track was Justice and their single "D.A.N.C.E" which inspired Oliver to explore producing music on a more serious note.
Using "Reason" and "Ableton" it was some 3 years before Oliver felt he had perfected his work enough to actually put it online and let others hear his music. From that point on, the rest is near history, going from unofficial remixes to being contracted for artists such as Urban Cone, Bon Iver, Kim Cesarion, MNDR, Jutty Ranx, Keljet, Mikky Ekko, Ella Henderson, Route 94, Max Marshall, Ariana & The Rose, The Knocks, Lemaitre, Priory, Cazzette, Tove Lo, The Kooks and more.
Oliver regularly receives support from some of the web's most influential biogs, websites and YouTube channels such as Suicide Sheep, lndie Shuffle, Dancing Astronaut, Earmilk, Kick Kick Snare, The Vibe Guide, Mr Revillz and many more.
Oliver has also charted No. 1 on Hype Machine 6 times over with his top remixes reaching 5 million plus in streams across platforms such as Soundcloud, YouTube and Spotify.
2014 saw another change in direction; Oliver wanted to showcase his talents to a live audience and has since become a regular DJ for French based label Kistune, touring the world to locations such as Munich, Zurich, Denmark, Finland, Italy and London.
It is all very much in the details for Oliver Nelson, and along with his other close friends Tobtok and Skogsra, 2014 has been a must and the future is just looking even better. Oliver is now working on his debut original material which will be released in 2015 along with more DJ shows around the world!
