The Oakland Music Festival (OMF) is an effort to support this endeavor. Honoring Oakland’s diverse history, while promoting its culture of innovation and continued evolution, the Festival seeks to provide not only a stage, but a tangible economic and social impact to help drive and sustain this positive momentum.
On Friday, the 4th annual Oakland Music Festival (OMF) kicked off its first ever weeklong festival, featuring nine days of music, art, panels and workshops focused on sustaining, showcasing and fostering Oakland’s music and arts community and cultural authenticity.

• Some of the Bay Area's most notable producers including Jay Ant, Kuya Beats (HBK Gang), Trackademicks, and Max Kane, will join together to discuss their process, workflow and lend their advice on professionally making music. Each will discuss their experiences and demo producing a song for the audience. This event is geared toward high school and college age audience but anyone interested in music production is welcome to attend.
