Autumn Lights Festival is a two-night collaboration of the magnificent Oakland and Bay Area art community and our cherished public garden. It takes place October 16-17, 6:00-11 PM, in the Gardens at Lake Merritt, a seven-acre oasis of themed gardens nestled in Lakeside Park. The gardens will be illuminated by the magical art installations created by over 75 artists. Luminarias will gently light the paths throughout.
Please help us raise funds for our beautiful new entrance gate plaza, all event profits go to this. We have exquisite designs for iron gates for each entrance created by a local artist, and we plan to set them into landmark-worthy landscaping and hardscaping. The plaza will wrap from the Garden Center to the road and deep into the gardens.
