Join Not In Our Town for a private screening of our two latest films. A Prosecutor's Stand follows San Francisco Assistant District Attorney Victor Hwang as he prosecutes hate crimes. The film explores the importance of raising awareness about reporting and prosecuting hate and follows Hwang as he works with the community to seek justice for the victims. Waking in Oak Creek reveals the powerful inspiring community response to intolerance after a deadly hate crime shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin. In the year following the attack, the community is awakened and transformed through the Sikh spirit of "Chardi Kala," or relentless optimism.
