The Norwegian Seamen's Church in San Francisco was established to benefit Norway's seamen. It is still an active church which holds regular services for the Norwegian community as well as various other arrangements, such as a monthly student dinner. In addition it organizes Norwegian language classes, and sells Norwegian weekly magazines, Norwegian foods, and candy.
