Champagne Dinner & Film Screening with Martine Saunier
Immerse yourself in the world of Champagne, courtesy of Nico Restaurant and Martine's Wines. The Champagne-filled evening on Thursday, June 4th will be guided by the importer's founder Martine Saunier, and current president Greg Castells, both of whom will be on site to pair the multi-course evening with their bubblies.
The evening begins with snacks, Champagne, and a screening of "A Year in Champagne", produced by David Kennard and starring Martine Saunier. The film follows Saunier through the region of Champagne and features the personable producers and superb cuvees imported by Martine's Wines.
Midway through the film, 2015 San Francisco Chronicle Top 100 Restaurants’ Chef Nicolas Delaroque will serve a seasonal, four-course dinner. The menu will be created the day of, using only the freshest available produce and proteins, and will be expertly paired with Martine’s best cuvees, including the rare Gonet Medeville Champ D’Alouette 2002.
