| Description Iceberger is proud to present the autobiographical photography of Nick Meyer in his first solo show Green River. Meyer uses a snapshot aesthetic to document the adventures of a close knit community of friends and family in his hometown near Northampton Massachusetts.
Rebelling against a world that continues to speed up, Meyer concentrates on the slowing down of time in pursuit of a hedonistic lifestyle where the shedding of ones clothes, lighting of fireworks and good company take precedence over the banality of the everyday. His work captures the intimate moments and social interactions between a group of people bound by their desire for staying young as they make their way through the world. |
