On New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31, La Folie in San Francisco will have two seatings, both with prix fixe menus only. The first seating, 5:00 to 6:00 PM, will be served a $195.00 prix fixe menu plus an amuse bouche and petits fours and chocolates with an optional pairing of wines by the glass; the second seating, from 9:00 to 10:00 PM, will be served a $295.00 prix fixe menu plus an amuse bouche and petits fours and chocolates and an optional pairing of wines by the glass. The main course choice for both seatings will be Squab and Chestnut Risotto with celery root and truffled jus; Certified Black Angus Beef Tenderloin with crispy sweet breads, Pommes Maxim's, horseradish nettle cream, heirloom carrots and truffle Madeira sauce; or Miyazaki Wagyu Ribeye ($85.00 supplement) with crispy sweet breads, Pommes Maxim's, horseradish nettle cream, heirloom carrots, truffle Madeira sauce. Second seating guests will receive a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight and party favors. All prices exclude beverages, tax and gratuity.
