New Year's Eve Celebration at Homestead in Oakland
On New Year's Eve, Saturday, December 31, Homestead in Oakland will have two seatings, both with prix fixe tasting menus only. For the first seating, 5:00 to 6:30 PM, there will be a $100.00 four-course prix fixe menu and for the second seating, 6:30 PM to midnight, there will be a $130.00 five-course prix fixe menu. For both seatings there will be an optional pairing of wines by the glass for an additional charge and both of the tasting menus will feature such items such a crudo of kampachi with caviar, seared foie gras, grilled diver scallops, ribeye cooked in the fireplace, butter poached turbot, bone marrow and much more. Guests planning on staying at the restaurant to celebrate the new year will receive a complimentary sparkling wine toast at midnight. All prices exclude tax but include service.
