Artists Shane Myrbeck, Emily Shisko, and Scott Snibbe present short performances followed by a moderated discussion.
Shane A. Myrbeck is a sound artist, composer, and acoustician living in Oakland. Recent residencies include the Exploratorium and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Myrbeck is also a designer of acoustic space at Arup.
Emily Shisko is an Oakland-based composer, performer, and educator working in the intersection between traditional methods and experimental practices. Recent commissions include an artist residency at the Exploratorium.
Scott Snibbe is a pioneer in interactive art, interactive music, digital video, and gestural user interfaces. He is currently the founder and CEO of social music video startup Eyegroove.
