Warn The Duke
Featuring members of River City Rebels and Big D and the Kids Table, Warn The Duke's brand of throat-y nihilistic garage-punk is bleak, desperate and harsh on the outside, with a hopeful underbelly of overcoming, warmth, and self-generated energy and movement that will throw your fist up in defiance.
Cables & Arms
While Cables & Arms is clearly a band that embraces the roots of post-hardcore punk – that is to say fast and loud with some rather strong opinions about pop culture - you won't find any 3-chord screamo angst here. All from experienced touring bands, the four San Francisco based members draw from such influences as Quicksand, Knapsack and Hot Snakes and pour the frustrations of daily life and the passions they ignite into high energy melodies delivered with equal parts intricacy and fury.
Songs For Snakes
Songs For Snakes is entering its 11th year with Bill Taylor as singer/guitarist, new drummer Steve Delany (formerly of Boston's Wrong Body) and new bassist Justin Castilla (formely of SF's Mariana trench). We remain focused on creating melodic music that is a mixture of melancholy and aggression.
