To celebrate its 75th anniversary, the NASA Ames Research Center holds its first open house in 17 years. Visitors can take a walking tour of Ames' various facilities, including wind tunnels, flight simulators and supercomputing center as well as chat with NASA engineers and scientists. Exhibits will share info on various NASA missions and aircraft will also be on display. Since all that walking (organizers say it amounts to 5 miles' worth) builds up an appetite, Moveable Feast will keep visitors fed with an event at Ames that brings together 100 food trucks, who will take up residence along Bacon Boulevard, Sriracha Strip, Sweet Street, and Taco Town, with their dishes' ingredients corresponding to their street "addresses."
