Name The Band
NAME THE BAND is an independent rock band from São Paulo, Brazil. Lead by musician and song writer Zeh Monstro, Name the Band is also Gabriel da Rosa, Beto Careca and Vini Marmore. You will notice a punk rock accent in our music, but with a strong influence by the 70’s & 80’s.Rock, from artists such as David Bowie, Lou Reed, Devo.Our debut album “Just Add Sugar” was recorded in São Paulo, at Nimbus Studios, and mastered at the Sage Audio Studio, in Nashville, TN. “Just Add Sugar” was released in December, 2012. Our debut single, “Big Mouth” was first aired at 89FM, the main rock station in Brazil. MTV Brasil released “All In” video clip. Short after that, iTunes highlighted the album and recommended the band (New Brazilian Rock compilation), recognizing Name the Band as one of the breakthrough rock acts in Brazil in 2013, leading us to perform at Lollapalooza in Brazil, during the 3 days of the Festival. 2014 started with a brand new VEVO channel, with the new video for the song “The Plan”, and the debut on Multishow (cable TV music channel). A new single was just released, “Flash Flood”, hitting the air with 89FM. And for the first time, one of the most important fashion events in the world, Sao Paulo Fashion Week put together a show during its official agenda. Name The Band performed an after show in the last day of the SPFW, as the first ever invited band to hit fashionistas’ territory in Sao Paulo. The band now is hitting the USA roads, for the #FlashFloodUSATour. “Flash Flood” is also their latest single released during Mike Watt’s “Watt From Pedro Show” in San Pedro, CA.

if ruth gordon and some teddy boy from south london decided to open a summer camp in sf the seagulls would be there camp councilors ,the cool kind that help the kids get the stolen dinosaur back too the museum,teaching those jammy faced cherubs the importance of right and wrong,teamwork and how too give the people wat they want.....ladies and gentlemen...i give you THE SEAGULLS.....as always you are very welcome
