Sandra Lee Gallery is proud present our own prominent artist, Gregg Chadwick. He creates paintings that echo the distilling rush of everyday life. Experience, thoughts, moments, and memories past all overlap to Gregg, creating a shifting understanding of everyday life. His process involves a series of initial applications, finding the shapes and forms gathered from the world around him. At times, He then proceeds to scrape down the wet paint, leaving a more fragile palimpsest. In doing this, allows under images to come forth and reveal the more mysterious fragments of the subconscious to then be revealed.
