Opening the program, the San Francisco Symphony performs Mussorgsky’s musical thunderbolt, A Night on Bald Mountain, the evocative tone poem inspired by stories from Russian folklore. Then, hear R. Strauss’ arresting “Dance of the Seven Veils.”
