How does music make you feel? Does some music feel different than other music? In this family concert we’ll learn how composers use harmony, different instruments, and sometimes even a good story to make you feel happy, sad, excited, scared, amazed...or maybe everything all at once!

Recommended for ages 7 and older. Half price for ages 17 and under. Group discount not available.

Jan 31:

From Mazurkas to Marches to Mambos, Conductor Christian Baldini and the San Francisco Symphony will show you how music can move and groove—and how people groove right along with it!

Mar 14:

Bring the entire family to learn about orchestral music and interact with conductor Edwin Outwater and the San Francisco Symphony in exciting, unexpected, and often hilarious ways. Featuring HARMONIA 3000, the Davies Symphony Hall onboard computer, and other musical friends, these concerts will illustrate the scope of a symphony orchestra’s abilities and engage you and your kids with the transformative possibilities of music in our everyday lives.
