Munch 150 - Great Art on Screen (San Jose)

"Munch 150" will honor the 150th anniversary of Edvard Munch's birth. Munch was one of the towering figures of modern art with his renowned paintings such as "The Scream", which set a public art record of $120 million. The event, co-hosted by The National Museum and the Munch Museum, will go behind-the-scenes to show the process of putting on an exhibition together. It will also feature a tour of Norway providing an in-depth biography of a man who lived from the mid-19th century through the German occupation of Norway in World War two.
