The LA ’80s hair metal scene seems like a million years ago, yet Motley Crue, who pretty much defined that look and sound, are still going strong. Well, actually they're ending. They hit San Jose in their final tour ever, and are going out big--hitting stadiums and amphitheaters. Musically Motley Crue hasn't changed much: heavy riffs, pop hooks, a lot of studio polish, but they've curbed the hedonism a bit since their glory days of drug overdoses, sex tapes and run-ins with the law. Next to their hairspray-laden hairdos and the rock & roll debauchery, they will be remembered as one of the most consistently popular rock acts of all time. (Aaron Carnes)
