Moonalice’s annual "420 Gathering of the Tribe" - this year’s theme: Psychedelic Spring on 4/19! Opening is Doobie Decibel System (DDS) with Jason Crosby.
Taking place on Sunday, April 19 at Slim's at 4:20pm. Every guest will receive a selection of over 15 original art posters by well known artists commemorating this 4:20 event.
Plus guests can explore the Poster Show (posters selected from over 750 in the archives), have their photo taken in the themed photo booth, get fooled by the hippy magician, play the raffle, and enjoy lots and lots of treats! Tickets are only $5!

Moonalice is a psychedelic, roots-rock band of seasoned musicians. The band mixes a variety of genres and its shows feature extended musical improvisations that evoke a sense of adventure and exploration. Every Moonalice show features an original art poster created by a well-known artist with its own unique Moonalice “legend” and given free to all attendees. All Moonalice concerts are broadcast live in HD and available in an online archive shortly after their set.

Moonalice plays mostly original material mixed with some covers, and during their extended freeform jams the band moves as one, drawing from many musical genres honed from years of experience playing with various major acts.

Band members: Barry Sless - lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, bass (Phil Lesh & Friends, David Nelson Band, Kingfish, Cowboy Jazz), Pete Sears - keyboards, bass, guitar, vocals (Sam Gopal Dream, Rod Stewart, original Jefferson Starship, Hot Tuna, John Lee Hooker), Roger McNamee - rhythm and lead guitar, vocals, bass (currently of Doobie Decibel System with Jason Crosby https://www.DDSband.com / Guff, The Engineers, Random Axes, Flying Other Brothers) , and John Molo - drums, vocals (Bruce Hornsby & The Range, John Fogerty, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Other Ones).

The band manager is Big Steve Parish - Road Scholar, Medicine Man, Story Teller, Grateful Dead family member, and co-founder of Jerry Garcia Band.

Their single "It's 4:20 Somewhere" has been downloaded over 4.6 million times http://www.moonalice.com/song/its-420-somewhere.

Jason Crosby (Robert Randolph & Susan Tedeschi) and Roger McNamee (Moonalice) formed a duo, "Doobie Decibel System” (DDS). Crosby played with Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Carlos Santana, Pete Seeger, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen & Dave Matthews. DDS works with 24 poster artists to produce a unique poster given to guests at every concert. Live streaming video in HD of every performance is available and archived for free listening via their website doobiedecibelsystem.com and social media channels.
